I am new to this forum so bear with me, and also don't mean to be beating a dead horse with this issue. I have a 2002 SV650S, looking to just take the front cowling off and get some upright bars and a headlight with a windfoil. I have the underbelly pan, just looking to get that nice "naked" look. Any suggestions would help, don't know where to begin. Once again thank you for reading this post.

you will need to switch out the top triple clamp, lines, and cables besides getting handlebars and headlight parts. You may also have to change the master cylinder. Look on here or ebay for parts, be patient. I built my last bike entirely from parts bought from here and ebay (naked first gen).

Look at Flyncycle or Aztec 8 for your headlights, brackets, turn signals. I got a couple of items from each company, kind of mixed and matched to get the look I wanted.
The bars are a bit more difficult. You will need a front brake lines and a new clutch line (can be had here:http://www.convertibars.com/Product...&MakeID=76&ModelID=110&btnSubmit=+Next+Step!+).
you can either drill into your top triple clamp and add risers for the new bar, or just search ebay/oneidasuzuki for a naked top triple.
Do the google search for more info and pics on this. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=site:forum.svrider.com&btnG=Search just follow the link below and add to the search bar what it is you are looking for on SVR. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the information, it doesn't sound too awful. . . oh and to the guy who posted the big search sign. . . I think you need to find a bigger font I could only read that from down the hall.
its not hard. if you do search though there are tons of threads on it.
