So I have a 2002 SV650S and it runs like a charm other than when I reach about 130, it sputters and starts to die down. After I hit it once, I will barely beable to ride at 100mph. It will just bog down if I stay it it when it starts to sputter. Any ideas?

Sounds like a governor or rev limiter kicking in to me. I've had my '19 up to 100-110 and it's running out of breath at those speeds.

Fuel starvation likely. My ‘01 will do indicated 135, but it never dies it just can’t push my fat butt any faster than that. Definitely fuel starvation. Check everything from tank to carbs. Replace any tubing or filter you are unsure of.
