I have ordered a replacement regulator rectifier, the one that has arrived came from a SV650S injection model of the same year and has 1, 3 pin connection and 1, 4 pin connection. The original has 1, 2 pin connection and 1, 3 pin connection.

Does someone know how to wire this up to the bike or is there a wiring diagram i can refer to. The small one is the old one.

Thanks

The 3-pin connector is the same - no confusion there. It's an AC input from stator (in your case 3 yellow wires to 3 black ones). The 4-pin connector has 2 pairs of positive and negative terminals of DC output. You can take one black/white wire and one black/red wire and solder them to your old 2-pin connector. (Just make sure that the connector puts black to black and red to red)
