Before installing the forks and they're off the bike, one might consider it advisable to replace the fluid as well. 7 weight should work well because TWF says it will damn it ;D.

Any good links on the procedure for a royal flush on an '03 750 USD? Must be straight forward, but prior preperation will make life easier on installation day.

you need special tools to take forks apart... pm twf or ducowner for more info :)

I didn't realize you need special tools just to change the fluid. Thanks, I'll check the site.

Yep, i thought about doing the same til I found that out. Bit of a downer really, i don't like having bits of the bike that I can't work on myself :)
