Howdy all,

I've read so many posts on preload from y'all I'm getting dizzy. Also have gotten PM advice from experienced members. I still don't get it.

Please excuse my stupidity ;D ! ....

(1) what does shrinking the front adjustor flush to the triple do to preload, ride height and to rider and free sag?

(2) what does turning the rear adjustor as far CLOCKWISE as it will go do to preload, ride height and to rider and free sag?

Thanks so much and sorry I coouldn't get it from your prior posts.

When the adjuster is flush with the triple that is max preload (outer adjustment anyway). You are pushing the spring spacer farther down, loading the spring. More preload raises the ride height (up to the point where you top out the suspension, then obviously you can't get more ride height). More preload decreases rider and free sag.
