I currently run Traxxion Dynamics .90kg springs w/ Bel Ray 20W oil and a 2003 GSXR-1000 rear shock on my 03SVS. I weigh about 175-180lbs w/out my gear.

Is this setup correct for my weight? What should it be if it's not?

Thanks!

I believe it's okay so far as spring rate. That shock has 480lbs/in spring if I recall. I weigh the same as you and have 0.90 springs, not positive about the rear.

Yep thats about as good as you get without having someone rebuild the shock or use emulators in the forks, or swap the front for cart forks.

What you get with those setups is not a different spring rate, but better damping.
Will you notice a big difference? Yeah.
Is it worth it? Depends on your budget really.

Why are you asking... just peace of mind or is the bike doing something strange?
