That rise in the stock clipons is more than I want. I know I can lower the clip ons on the forks but would rather find some after market clip ons which have a lesser rise than the stock ones. Somehow I think it would look goofy with space between the bottom of the triple clamp and the top of the clip ons.

Many threads in here discuss the Woodcraft ones which don't work without cutting the fairing. The Woodcraft ones has no rise at all.

I would think someone makes a clipon which results in a lower than stock position, without lowering the stock clip ons, but not as low as the Woodcraft.

Any suggestions?

I'm not sure but if you wanted to put a gsxr front end on your bike you would have to buy gsxr clipons to replace the stock ones anyway which I believe have no rise. I honestly like the feel of it. My buddy just put a gsxr front end on his bike so i'm putting one on mine too. hope this helps any.

What made you decide on the whole GSXR front end, instead of just upgrading the forks?
