Just finished my fairing to naked conversion, and I have an extra 2ft of wire bundled up around the headlight and it looks terrible.

Anyway, is there any particular way to shorten them. Should I just simply cut one at a time, strip it, then crimp them together. Then do that for the rest?

Just not sure if that's the best method.

Thanks, Trevor

Sure, take a bare positive wire and touch it to a care negative wire.

Oh wait, you meant shortening wires! My bad!

Yep, cut and solder. Its pretty easy once you do it a few times. Im a fan of using a small butane torch to do the heating rather than an iron because it seems easier to me when you cant work on a bench. Just remember to put the heat shrink around the wire before you solder it.

LOL. You got owned!

Don't criticize someone else for incorrect spelling, at least mine was close. Look how far away the C from the B is on the keyboard.

Thanks guys!
