Just curious about peoples thoughts on stretching an SV.
Has anyone ever seen it? Mines in the shop know getting stretched and slammed.
Will have photos soon.

are you serious? If thats your thing I would like to see your pictures. ppl were talking about this awhile ago to. With each precious hp we have and your adding pounds its going to be slower, ppl are going to expect you to pull 10s in the quarter with the show but no go swingarm.

Well, long n' low would calm the SV down somewhat, especially if you had really low gearing and were only running 1/8 mi strips. Still seems like chopping firewood with a Ginsu knife, but to each his own...

Thats respectable as a nice show bike and as zx10 owner I can see the +side to a stretched swingarm.

Only downside is all that chrome/polish to keep clean.

Dust+High humidity=Long hours w/polishing rags :-[

She's sexy at that angle though

Yeah but that's what trailer queens are for.

That thing must be loud as sin with 1000cc's and no pipe. I'd love to hear it wind out...

Why spend the time and money, not to mention destroying what the SV actually does well (low cost, good handling), to stretch it so it can run, what...11's...?  If you need a stretched bike, start with any 600 made in the last 14 years and wax any SV you want to in a straight line.  75hp drag bikes are not that much fun.  Trust me.  Trailer queens suck too, IMHO, but hey some people like to ride 'em; some people like to polish 'em.  Before you flame me, I'm not talking about that ZX in particular, just generalizing...

I still wanna know why. It's not that hard to keep the front down. Is it strictly a drag bike?
