I recently bought a trailtech vapour gauge for my 2002 650S-N conversion but the supplied speedo sensor/bolt is the wrong size. I know I can glue the Magnet straight to my brake rotor, but that's irritatingly ghetto for my tastes.

Has anyone tried wiring the stock speedometer sensor into the vapour gauge? or any other aftermarket gauge for that matter?

I know how to wire everything up, I was just hoping to use the stock speedo sensor. glueing the magnet into the rotor button looks more secure than on a flat surface. If I can't wire up the stock sensor I'll go with that solution.
