its seems 15/47 on the nakeds are a popular choice. I will also be ordering 15/47 this week. No since in not using all the rev per gear. From what I have read it will only raise your rpms ~500 at cruising speed over the stock gearing

Op, are you changing the chain too? Going to 520 or staying 525?

How many links are you guys running with 15 47?

110 is too long on my bike.

How would you guys compare 15/47 to 14/45? I just cant decide and there really isn't that much discussion on gearing here that i have found.

15/47 would be the same as a 14/44, -1 back is the same as +3 in the rear. (just for reference)

15/47 is a 3.13 ratio
14/45 is a 3.21 ratio

Only thing I have heard from looking around on here, is that a 14 front makes a really tight radius for the chain to go around and wears the chain out faster. I don't know that much about all this, but I just ordered a 15/46 for my S model. Putting it on next weekend.

This is not a consensus on the forum, but I believe a stock exhaust has better bottom end than any other pipe (without intake and ECU mods).

I know that an atre will give you noticeably more torque in 2nd and 3rd between 2500 and 4000 rpm. That's bottom-end imho!

Oh, and +1 on the 15/47. You won't lose any top speed, because it will be able to pull to its peak in 6th instead of 5th.
