Has anyone ever installed racetech springs w/o installing the emulator? If so how did it go? I need to replace a leaky for seal and am thinking about doing springs at the same time. Money is a little to tight to do the emulators as well. Anyone have any comments on this setup'?

Springs will help, put in new oil 15wt and it will far improve over stock. The new springs will help with Static and overall sag.

EMu's help control damping not overall load carrying, the SV is far to light for anyone over 155LBS.

The 15wt will slow Comp. and Reb damp.

Also though I tote Racetech products, I would look into Sonic Springs from rich desmond he is very active and helpful on here and they are about the same price as RT's.

I just installed Sonic Springs and fork oil after talking to Rich. It went pretty smooth and the bike rides much better now when paired with my ZX10 shock. Not too bad for $110 total for springs and oil. Cheap upgrade and well worth it. Might want to start with that instead of going straight to emu's.
