Do you have a growing collection of body metal? (Because you are a motorcyclist)
Are you tired of setting off metal detectors at the airports?
Then this is the thread for you.

Here is mine. Acquired 3 years ago at the track when my hand got caught between the handlebars and the ground.

i wish I had all my x ray films :)

I have a plate and 8 screws in my left ankle and two screws and some wire in my left shoulder. Skateboarding not motorcycles.

I dont have any metal parts internally and I cant post pics of the other metals cept my ears LOL

No xrays on hand, but I have two metal plates and four lag bolts where L5/S1 was removed and fused. Haven't set off any metal detectors yet.

When you do set off a detector, do you just explain and let them wand over the injury or what? Never had to deal with it, but it occures to me that it could create some air travel problems.

Actually I've never set off metal detectors either. Just think it'll be funny if it does happen.

Stjjames might know more about setting off metal detectors.
