Not really an expert on bikes, only owned this used one (my second) for around 3 months and the owner did a lot of mods, but I did a few.

Suzuki SV-1000 2005

-Extended windshield
-Carbon Fiber Brake and Clutch Levers
-Red Seat Cowl and Handle eliminator (not pictured)
-H.I.D. Xenon Lights
-Yoshimura pipes
-Gel seat
-Some sort of grippers on the side where you put your legs. Makes keeping myself on the bike super easy since I just squeeze my legs.
-heightened handle bars
-Fender eliminator
-A few minor cosmetic things.

Hi, I'm new to this forum but I've been riding for over 15 years (and racing formula cars even longer). Here's my current ride - '07 SV650. I've done lots of small mods, nothing really big. The photo is a little old so it doesn't show all the mods made.

Here's what I've done so far (off the top of my head):

- Ducati Monster Mirrors
- Yoshi exhaust -- though I'm mounting up a Leo Vince when my garage gets a little warmer.
- Exhaust guard to keep my heel from melting on the pipe
- Removed the stupid chrome cover off of the mid-pipe
- De-snorkel'd
- K&N Filter
- Carbon fiber fender (major pain in the ass to fit up)
- Suzuki fender eliminator
- Rear hugger (I replaced the one in the photo with a carbon fiber "look" version of the same
- Competition Werkes rider pegs (minor pain in the ass to fit up as they do not fit from the factory)
- Custom made Corbin seat (narrower and lower in the front for us vertically challenged folks)
- Frame, trailing arm, and handle bar sliders
- Removed all the stupid reflectors
- Removed all factory decals then added a few of my own (perhaps too many, I think I'll be removing some of them in the Spring)
- Clear signal lenses with amber blubs
- Removed passenger grab-bar (AKA the holy $hit handle) and mounted the seat cowl (then I have two passenger seats, one for passengers and another which has the Suzuki seat bag mounted to it)
- EZ Pass (probably one of the best mods for long distance riders -- other than the seat that is)
- Navigation System
- Quick release gap cap
- Suzuki faux carbon fiber tank protector and triple clamp cover

Future Mods:
- Leo Vince Exhaust
- DynaJet Power Commander

I think that's about it -- like I said, small mods, nothing major.

After some new parts this winter I figured I would add a updated pic.

Changed out the 15 48 sprocket combo to a 15 47
New EK Quadra X-ring 525 chain
Added svracing parts Rear sets
Painted grab bar black
Painted fender eliminator black
Cut out sprocket cover and painted black
Removed red passenger pegs and put back on stock pegs
Chopped off tool box from fender and undercoated.
