ETA: 2003 SV650 swapping to a 07 zx10 shock

The rearward of the two bolts with the dogbones attached(attaches the dogbones to the swingarm) is acting like the dogbone on the bolthead side of the bolt is attached to the bolt.

I removed the nut, and tried to back the bolt out, but it wont seem to back out. It moves out about an eighth of an inch and the dogbone moves with it.

Am i missing something here? Does the forward(lower) bolt also have to come out?

thanks for any help.

I just swapped my shock for an 07 ZX10r shock last week (awesome difference already) and i took out the rear dogbone bolt without a problem, it wasnt super easy but if your rear is suspended, which i assume it is. try pulling on the bolt while lifting the rear wheel a small amount and it should slide out. I just stuck my foot under the rear tire, pulled the bolt and wiggled the rear tire up and down with my foot.... came right out.
