I bought some stainless steel lines for my SV a couple years ago from galfer. Initially they gave great feel, but over time it seemed to get worse and worse. I just finished tracking down a mushy brake pedal, by replacing a bunch of parts, (calipers, banjo bolts, fittings, master cylinder) and have traced the culprit to the lines themselves. They are either leaking from under the crimped fittings. It's a very slow leak, but if I tie the lever down over night I come back to a lever thats bottomed out against the handle bar because all the fluid has been squeezed out. Anyone else experience this? Think I'd have any luck getting a warranty replacement from galfer?

Is there fluid all over the outside of the lines? If so, send back to Galfer complaining. If not then it's some other problem. Galfer has a good reputation, although I favor Speigler's
