overall I'm happy with that setup, the quality of the JC whitney case is not top notch but I can't complain for $48

mine is large - 40L
you should've asked around before ordering, there is a special way of ordering it that gives you a discounted price.
the givi bracket with a plate was $136.80
I wish I could go with Givi case too but I just couldn't see myself spending 3-4 times more money on it

Yeah I hear ya on case prices. I went to the Givi tent @ bike week hoping to see some lower prices to no avail.
