Any one done this? Can the S triple be mod'ed to take N risers?

Or is this one of those things that falls under the category of "a very bad idea"?

It can be done, I have a SV1k S top triple with risers.
I'd advise using a drill press and being careful with your measurements.

The S top triple doesn't have the reinforced bosses that the N triple does, where the riser bolts go. You might want to consider reinforcing the underneath with some aluminum stock and/or epoxy.
I went with that route and it is working well.

All that said, I have an N top triple if you're interested.

The two models do have different offsets. You might also need new brake lines and new cables.

PS. I have all of the above available.

I thought they had different offset. Maybe I misunderstood?
They do have different offsets. If you use an N top triple you would also use an N bottom triple.

As stated, you will need to reinforce the underside of the S triple to gain the rigidity necessary for the loads that will incur.

You will also need brake lines and clutch cable from a Naked, and longer throttle cables from Convertibars (Naked throttle cables will not work on an S).
