Yup, I did it. I went and got certifiable.
MSF RiderCoach Tom is amongst you.
Passed the RCP course this past weekend, and honestly (for anyone considering this), it is NOT easy. As I have told others, I consider it to be one of the 3 most difficult things I have ever done in my life. The other being 1) U.S. Marine Corps bootcamp/OCS (did both), 2) producing a motion picture.
Depending on who your state coordinator is, seems like the MSF is extremely serious about who they pass. My class partner was asked to retake the course on the last day, after 4 weeks of training, with nothing but the Range Evaluations and the written test left to administer. In fact, I only passed by a stroke of good will on her part, and for that I am extremely appreciative.
So if anyone has any questions, feel free to PM me. I'm happy to fill you in on anything. Otherwise, just putting it out there because this is the first big accomplishment I've had in a while. Sort of an injection shot of faith that seems to have been absent for some time.
