Anyone have any tips on how to separate a bearing from a foot peg? My Vortex foot pegs didn't crash properly so the foot peg sheared off at the shift lever. Now that I got my new foot peg in, I'm trying to replace the footpeg, but the bearing will not separate from the foot peg at all.

I've tried hammering and everything, but it seems like they're permanently stuck together unless I destroy the bearing.

I had the same issue occur and ended up having to replace the whole shifter assembly on that side because I was not able to get it apart. I had the older model kit from 04. Don't know if the newer models are any different design wise as far as ease of replacement is concerned...

Well I don't think I have to replace the entire shifter assembly. Bearing is already knocked out. The lever seems a tad bit bent, but nothing terrible.

I'm a bit disappointed with the design. It's extremely expensive to replace parts too...
