Gladdy wheel bolted into 2g SV
.... I guess there is no chance getting it onto the 1st gen bike? Unless the 1st gen rotor is compatible on the gladius rear wheel?

...also, I believe the 2nd gen on bikes have a larger rear axle diameter?

You could use 1st gen bearings in gladius/3rd gen wheel. (i think, i never measured OD of the bearings) and the gladius/3g rear rotor is same size as 1st gen rear rotor. they are not interchangeable but both 240mm.

Hi all,
I'm new to the page - thank you for having me :-D
I'm doing a bit of mod to my 1st gen SV650, 1999.
Could you please confirm I have the wheel thing correct?

Back wheel:
CBR600 F3 back wheel is a direct swap with the spacer kit from TWF Racing - TWF Racing Parts
I'm not 100% sure that the brakes, sprockets and chain would still fit?

Front wheel:
SFV650 Gladius front wheel is a direct swap? No adjustment is needed?

This is what I have taken from what I have read around the web anyway.
SFV rear wheel needs full brake setup also. And CBR from wheel doesn't fit?

Would be highly appreciated with some confirmation if right or wrong before I go buy stuff.

Cheers.
