Just quickly installed some rear spools for my pit bull rear stand. The packaging says they are also sliders. I'm wondering if it's at all possible for that to be true. Right side the exhaust would need compressed down to nothing first and the left side the peg snapped completely first. Just a wondering question not that it matters.

I've got rash on both of mine...

however, I would recommend against that, as in some cases I've seen them snap off.

If they hit the ground instead of the swingarm, then technically they are slides. But most people that test them find that they make little to no difference in the event of them being used as spiders.

They are spools. And if you crash they might see some asphalt. Like you said. It doesn't really matter. Just be happy you've got a good stand!

They will work as sliders; more so on the side opposite the exhaust, obviously.

My left slider got rashed in a slide, once. It protected the axle bolt from getting ground down, which would have made removing the rear axle difficult.
