Racers Edge in Ohio

I was just wondering if anyone has dealt with Racers Edge outside of Cincinnati? I'm really considering a bike there but i'm stationed at mcconnell afb, KS so its a little bit of a commute. I have family in Indiana that might go check it out though. I'm just curious as to how it was working with em. www.racersedge411.com

you realize that these are on 'salvage' titles??

they usually have a good selection, if it's a 'hot' model, they don't stay around long...

last time i was there they had a yellow 748 Duc with the plastic all rashed, can't remember how much they wanted, i remember thinking it was verry reasonable tho'...
I live real close to it what would you like to know? If there is something you would like me to check out I would be willing to maybe one night next week and I could let you know...

Yeah i knew most of them were salvaged, a few clear titles, and some are cleared. I was looking at an '03 with a "cleared" title. I called them and they couldn't really give me any info on the bike besides the stuff i read off the page. I did get the VIN though. So if I can find someplace to run that that'd be awesome.

Awesome, I might have to take you up on that. Thanks alot for the offer! It's a blue '03 650S. I'm gonna see if I can run this VIN somewhere and find out what this whole "cleared" title business is.
Yeah I figured it was the blue one with the silver tail... It looks to be a nice bike I have bought parts from them for a while and they seem to be good guys really... but if I were to look at it I am not afraid to offend them I will have you know... because I would want to get screwed so I wouldnt let anyone else get the shaft either.... I would try to contact racers edge again and ask if it is a rebuilt title... they mostly do that if so then that is your proof that there is no lien or stolen parts used to put the bike back together... I konw this because a state inspector has to examine the bike and run all the parts and even if he didnt then it means he signed it off and your free to go anyway.... but the VIn can be ran by your local DMV or title office to check for any garbage linked to the title... just tell them that you are looking to buy the vehicle and you just need to know if it is safe to buy....

Well looks like the bike was sold over the weekend. I'm sure posting in a forum didn't help that. But oh well i'll keep looking. Thanks for all the help and info, i'll definitly be using this in the near future.
