Curvy non running bike I got.
Stripped the harness, set up like the diagram.
Turns over but no spark.
Verified that the coils are good they will spark with a ground applied. There is power to both sides of the coils.
The resistor checks good, the diode checks good. Tried a ecu with my other sv that runs, still no spark.
Here are the 3 connections what do you think I'm missing?

Hi Ky650, Did you get this fixed?

If so, can you please post the voltage across the 100-ohm resistor?

There has been conflicting information posted on the exact voltage, and another data point will help SVR help other folks like you in the future.

Thanks!

What is the voltage directly across the 100 ohm resistor?

Just to clarify:
A) Do both ignitors show good-spark in your running bike?
B) Do both ignitors show no-spark in the project bike?
The running bike runs perfect, it's my current track bike but it has all the stock wiring. So I know the cdi is good.
The non runner has good coils for sure, I tested them both, they have 12volts on the both sides and will fire if I ground out the coils, big fat spark.

I just tested across the resistor, ohms is still fine but I have no voltage across the resistor. 0 volts.

0 volts across the anti-theft resistor is no good. Find out why, you will fix the problem.

As a sanity check, try measure the voltage on Orange/Red on the running bike.

Do this with the key On, kill switch set to Run, bike in neutral. Clip the Black meter lead to Battery(-). Push the tip of the Red meter lead (sharpen it up on sandpaper if necessary) through the insulation on O/R. The ignitor must be plugged in when making the voltage measurement.

I had a wire in the wrong spot on the test, I re tested the resistor, I get
.75 volts across the resistor with the power on. Same reading if I run the starter.
