What do you think? I know people here have both so chime in and tell me what you think. Pros and cons for both.

The Sonics for my weight are $79 and the Race Techs are $109. Is it worth the extra money for the techs or are the sonics just as good but cheaper?

I'm going to get them in a few weeks so help a brother out.

From what I've read, Rich at Sonic Springs manufactures his springs to the same standard that Race Tech does. Plus, he's a great guy, has been riding/racing an SV for 10 years, supports SVRider.com and most importantly, I'm using his springs

I went with Sonic. I got mine free (friend gave me a gift certificate), but I was planning to order them anyway. Rich is a good dude and he helped me a lot when deciding on which rate to go with and which oil to use.

Email Rich with your weight, riding style and what kind of riding you do. He'll suggest the best spring rate and oil weight.

For Gosteep24, if you're a fairly aggressive rider go with the 0.85s and 20w, if not 0.80s and 15w.

I just ordered the Sonics, 0.95. I sent Rich my specifics, and asked his recommendations. You and I are about the same weight. What weight and volume of fork oil are you using?

I have .90 with 15W in mine. I weight 190ish as well.
