I am tying down my sv in a moving truck with two other dirt bikes. I used 4x4's and a 4x6 in the front to make a square frame and used the wheel wells to keep it from sliding forward. I then put the bikes in two backwards and one forwards (sv forwards and in the middle) and I am putting 3/8" hooks in the wood to tie the bikes down to. My question is I use fork savers when ever I tie down my dirt bikes but have never tied down a street bike. I bought a canyon dancer and I just put it over the grips right? (will it damage my throttle) and can I crank the sv down in the front and load the fork or will it hurt it to sit 3 days like that ?
