so i was thinkin of ordering some of those so i can get faster acces under the driver's seat

http://cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=250356332412

does anyone know what are the OEM drvr seat fasteners?
the ebay item listed above wouldn't work with the stock bolt locations, the bolts go into a threaded nutplate, like a nut welded in place. the quick release fasteners need the propper socket, instead of threads it would just have two nipples in(or a single wire across) the socket that the QR fastener grabs and tightens down with.
wire type nutplate

nipple type

I assume that they replace the bolts that hold the seat on. I believe DougZ (site vendor) created something similiarhttp://www.dougzcustoms.com/
I do have QR release kits, that can include seat bolts. The stock SV seat bolts into a boss on the frame. A connector like the one in the ebay ad will not work...not with out drastic modification anyway.

Simple solution... thread the bolts in from the back side so they stick out about 1/2". Use locktite to secure them. Spread the ears over the bolts and 'bobs your uncle'. Can take the seat off in less than 5 seconds and never had a problem in 6 years of racing.
