Picking up the last few parts I need for my front end swap. I want to go with Swatt clip ons but I'm having trouble picking between 1.5' and 2.5" rise. So, I consult the combined knowledge of SVR!

I need opinions from 2nd Gen SV-Havers running Swatt Clipons on an S model. Will 1.5" rise clear the fairing? Is 2.5" higher than stock? I realize this product is a bit new to the SV world, but any sort of info, pictures, etc would be greatly appreciated ;D

I'm pretty sure 2.5" is about stock clip-on height. 1.5" might be a little too close?

Maybe, but a lot of people that have done the swap seem to recommend the LSL Offset Match clip-ons which only have a 1" rise. Unless they measured rise differently ???

1.5" here. shouldnt be an issue. i havent installed yet. i asked before and the consensus is 1.5" is fine since it only barely rubs

After some digging, it looks like the LSL 1" rise is actually *higher* than the Swatt 1.5":

I sent JPL_SV a PM seeing if he could get a picture of the Swatts with his fairing on. Anyone running LSLs on an S model that can snap a picture? I'm still digging, I'm sure V9 has a picture somewhere that I just missed

The 1.5" Swatt work just fine.

The 2.5" Swatt are slightly higher than stock. From what I've read, A Swatt 2" rise would be about exactly the same rise as stock, however you can't get a 2" rise.

You could always get the 2.5" rise, and just mount it 1/2" lower on the forks to emulate the stock rise of the SV.
