My brakes (2003 SV 650 S) are getting alittle spongy. about 3K miles ago the dealer told me my brakes are have 50% pads left so I dont think its that. I have heard that the Master Cylinder can actually get some air in there with were it is located on other bikes. Is this true with SV's? Also is it in the manual on how to bleed the brakes.
I have heard there is a trick, you can zip tie the front brake lever over night and it will clear the lines for you. Is this true also, or is it just a stupid idea that someone came up with. If so whats the best way to do this cause I know that brake fluid is very bad on paint too.
Thanks Jon.
