hi, sorry if this was posted but i wasn't able to find it. I was just lucky enough to become the owner of a nice 05 sv650s and was looking into getting the full lower fairings, i found a nice pair but wanted to know if the OEM fairings from other year models will fit, particularly 2006 fairings or 2008, thanks guys!

That is cool for 05's but 03 can't use anything but 03 lowers right due to the slightly different frame.

Is that correct?

Not too sure on that one, the radiator might be slightly different on the 03. The frames are the same, the subframes are different.

Lowers from '03+ are all the same. The '03 and '04 bikes have wider radiators, so the radiator mounting bracket is only 1/2" wide instead of 1" wide. Hole locations and other mounting points are the same. I used lowers from an '05 on my '03.

If you get full lowers, be sure to get Motosliders. Mine saved my uppers in a lowside. BTW there are a set of lowers for sale in the classifieds if you're looking for some.
