hello,

i am seeking a pre-load spacer length recommendation for the following setup:

Gen1 SV
RaceTech Emmulators
OEM Springs
OEM adjustable pre-load caps

1.25" of sag is preferred, to be in the middle range of the adj. pre-load caps. rider is 130lbs without gear / 145lbs with gear.

thanks !

How much sag now?

Measure your current total sag. How far is it from 1.25" that you want? If you need 1/4" more, cut 1/4" off the current spacer. If you need 1/4" less, cut new spacers 1/4" longer than the current spacers. You're better off testing live than going by internet guesses.

Yep, this is good advice, at least if you already have a starting point. If not, cut the spacer to that it's 3/4" short of coming up flush with the top of the tube, i.e it's recessed 3/4". Since you have the adjustable caps you should have enough adjustment available to get the sag right.
