I picked up a new Brit bike mag called Practical Sportsbikes at Borders the other day. (Barnes & Noble probably has it as well.) It's all 70's, 80's, and 90's sportbikes. In typical Brit bike mag style, it's very well constructed and WAY better than the domestic rags. Don't get me wrong. I like Motorcyclist, CycleWorld, et al, but the Brits really know how to make bike magazine.

Link for a description and free sample.

Great content ... and a great idea for a magazine.

Probably not a great name though.

There is nothing practical about any 20 + year old bike, especially 2 strokes.

That said, these are the "vintage" bikes that most of us actually restore and lust after.

Give me a Kawasaki KR1-S over a 60-70s Bonneville any day!

"Ride an Old-Crock" might have marketing problems, even if it's more honest.
