lol, any excuse to post-whore the bike, eh? :evil6:
Here's actually what it will look like on your 08 SVSlooks sweet. now I know what it will look like on my 08. mines a svs though.
Looks like he took off the rear seat, and put the OEM cowl on? :dontknow: Maybe I'm missing something.Fitment looks OK to me, SD. What did you do?
I changed out the rubber bumpers (using the ones off the seat) and filed the holes on the bracket that holds the two posts that lock the cowl into the locking mechanism on the bike so I could slide it forward (which moves the cowl back). The bumpers let the cowl sit a bit lower.Fitment looks OK to me, SD. What did you do?
HamicadWhat fender eliminator bracket did you use? I like the look of that.
He had posted up earlier that his cowl didn't fit right, he had a gap on it. Seems a few people have this issue, but I'm lucky enough to not be one of them. Mine fit perfectly right out of the box.Looks like he took off the rear seat, and put the OEM cowl on? :dontknow: Maybe I'm missing something.
That's correct. The gap at the rear was larger than the one in front and it was noticeable. Someone quickly helped me out on here though...I don't remember who it was at the moment though. He had posted up earlier that his cowl didn't fit right, he had a gap on it. Your SV is one of my favorite on this board...clean and simple. Same mods it'd do if I had an '08 Gray (my original choice).
