Peg Sliders for Woodcraft pegs, new from DZC

Many of you will recall a thread I posted a while ago, about the woodcraft pegs..and how many people were running them. There was a reason for that...I was looking to see how much of a potential market there was for peg sliders.

This was that thread: http://forum.svrider.com/showthread.php?t=91556&highlight=woodcraft

Well, I have come up with my own little version of these things, and right now, they are only for those with Woodcraft hollow pegs. They only stick out 15mm from the end of the peg, and are not larger in diameter than the peg itself, so they will not interfere with a rider's boot at all.

These will go for $12.50 shipped in ConUS, $14.50 if you want priority shipping.

here is a shot of what they look like...I may tweak this design a bit by dimpling the outside end a tad. Let me know who is interested and who wants a set.

As always, thanks for the support. DZ

Any chance you could make these more like a half sphere? I am concerned with the extra length causing a ground contact issue. Also, I like to grap the edge of my pegs with the outer edge of my foot. The delrin will be slippery vs the allumimum.
Lastly, any discount for volume?
There is already a supplier out there making a half sphere..so I do want to make an exact copy of their product.

yes to bulk discount.
Looks good but that peg looks very familiar to me ;)
Oh, you have Woodcrafts too? ;D

How deep set is the internal bolt? Ie, how much can you grind down before you start hitting the metal bolt?
There is no bolt to hit..its a friction/wedge fit.
No problem and thanks.
Doug,
It seems to be a press foot wouldn't last very long. I know I put a lot of effort into the end of my pegs. Have you tested them?
ac
being that the force that would be applied to them would try to push them in further, and they have a 3 mm lip full circumference, I do not think they would come out. I have not tested them myself..I actually do not run wood craft pegs or rearsets.....so no wayto test them.

There are other manufactures out there that make similiar set ups, with similiar installation methods..so I am not too worried about them coming out.
yeah..something like that would be advised in the directions for these. One of the two prootypes I made, need to be tapped in...the other slid in a tad easy. I also not sure of the tolerence that the ID of the pegs come...so something may be needed in some cases.
Thanks and thanks for the bump. Don't worry, I have not forgotten about your axle. ;D
