I live in Parry Sound so I wll be there, my wife and I are helping with the rally this year, the local bike club is runnig it and are trying to make it more like it used to be(it might take a couple of years) camping at Foley is back and the rader run at the airport. There will be a new web site soon(.ca instead of .com) that should be better. We are not concerned about how many people show up just that the people that do have a good time.
Cool, I've never seen the RADAR run at the rally. It's going to be great this year
I hope to make it there again this year. I am gonna try to get a group that wants to go.

Melanie, Dad, Mike, Dan, Harry...you guys in??
Nice one. I think they cancelled the radar run the year after i started going, and I didn't make it the first year. I'll have to see what this new SV can do. Too bad I don't still have my gixxer onthe street.
Last time I went to the Sportbike Rally was in '95. Now that I am riding again, I am hoping to get up there.

I've never heard of it, but I'm going now. See you there.

I'll say I'm in (unless I'm working or some dumb **** like that) and I'm sure if I go Carola will go. I think my dad wants to go too.
'kin hell there's going to be an SV-armada :headbang:
Looks awesome, this will be my first one of hopefully multiple.
What's the radar run?

you see how fast your bike can go in a straight line, and they radar you, and give you the speed. there are usually classes, and prizes too!

Oh, nice.. how long of a run is it??
The last time it was at the airport the runway is 4000ft. so you were given 2000ft. to get up to speed and 2000ft. to get stopped lots of room for safety. Some of the big bikes were wll over 200k.

Maybe we can make it an Ottawa Ride day and grab a few others. I rode there last year with a couple guys from the Ott-Moto forum and it's a pretty ride through Algonquin with a nice lunch just south of PS. If we leave early enough, it's doable in a day. (Or stay over for beerses...)

:)
mmmm....beerses...
Zuki, I'm in... unless we go to the cottage again:(...maybe I can get the SO's dad to bring his new bike;D

I will hopefully be now bringing 2-3 friends, non SV's though. Do you guys go up the night before, or leave early in the morning?
