I removed my Pair system a while ago. However i didnt wire in the resistor so now the Fi/oil light stays on. Ive heard that the resistor i need is a 10k one can anyone confirm this? Also radio shack has the resistors labeled with a ohm/amperage amount (ex: 50 watt 1/4 ohm). Does anyone know which one will work? Thanks for any help.

Radio Shack usually has resistors in stock. They can order and have it drop shipped.
Pay attention to the wattage, 1/8 watt are commonly stocked, if memory serves me right you will need 5 watt.
This wattage will be hard to find but combinations can make it happen.

10,000 is identified by color bands  BROWN - BLACK - ORANGE with the fourth band GOLD meaning 5% tolerance.

If they are out, you can use two 5K in series (one after the other) to get 10k or

you can use two 20K resistors in parallel (side by side).

Because it is basic electronics one oh one.
Rarely the exact parts exist, There are always many ways to do something
if the basic theories are understood. :))

Yesterday I couldn't spell the word injuneer .... today I are one :)
