I was debating powdercoat some wheels I have (non SV project) but it has proven near impossible to remove the cush drive sleeves (without destroying them). And given their cost, have decided to now consider just painting them. That said, I am a little bit concerned about just dropping my wheels off at the local paint shop who do insurance work primarily for automotive products. I know its a longshot, but can someone recommend someone in the philadelphia or surrounding area?

I'd call a couple of dealerships and see who they would use for small components painting. Generally dealerships won't BS you if there is no way they can make money out of you. Just my 2cents.

I can't see why you would have any issue dropping it off at any shop that has a paint setup... What is there to worry about? It's a set of wheels its not like its a hard job.
