Hi,

I'm shopping for a slip-on for my '01 SVS and want to buy whichever one has the deepest tone. It doesn't have to be the loudest. I've looked around on Youtube quite a bit, but often the sound quality isn't that good. So if anyone has an opinion from their experience, I would appreciate it. Thank you.

My exhuast note is about a F#.

All opinions will be biased. I have a LeoVince EVOII which has 3 levels of sound. Wide Open (really not too loud, nice rumble) - With the quiet insert (in the pipe end - nice rumble, slightly louder but deeper than stock) - With the EVO II Baffle (stock volume).

+1 on the Leo. For me, I think the Leo setup is one of the best.

Check out the M4, or even the viper stubby. I've heard both have a good deep tone to them. I have a holeshot exhaust that sounds awesome but not neccessarily deep though.

Scorpion Street Extreme has the lowest tone of any unmodified slip-on that I've heard; lower than M4, Yoshimura, Leo Vince, Holeshot, etc. The only one that may come close is a Viper shorty, but I've heard of quality control issues with them.

Love my Street Extreme, by the way :)

I have a holseshot, I like it. I've heard that the viper shorty has a really great sound!! Theres a clip on youtube somewhere...it does sound really good, just not sure on quality. All pipes are an improvement, even more so when u chop em!!

i have a carbon scorpion. Ive got tons of compliments about how she roars. Ive heard a normal viper and it sounded pretty good. So i went ahead and bought viper "stubby" but now i dont think i will be installing it. Im pretty sure im buying a new scorpion
