I've been doing some modding lately, and I picked up an Ohlins SU606 off here a couple weeks ago cheap. Putting it in to replace the gixxer shock i had, i notice that one side of the bottom clevice on the Ohlins is threaded. My question is, do I torque the bolt into the shock first, then torque the nut after? Or am i just supposed to thread the bolt in finger tight and then torque the bolt and nut together? thanks in advance.

I installed the gsxr shock, but that was in 06. I don't have that good of a memory. I tried installing it with no nut, and it pinched one side of the clevise against the lower mount. It looked uneven.
