I've been doing research on bar ends. I took mine off a long time ago in lieu of bar end mirrors, and have since lost them.

I'd like something a little heavier than stock to help with vibes (yes, the throttle bodies are synced). I've heard of a few people using Hayabusa bar ends, but they don't seem to include the expanding rubber and associated hardware. Oneida Suzuki lists different part numbers for '98-'07 'busa and '08+ 'busa...what's the difference?

Let's say I don't want to acquire the expander and stuff separately...here are other OEM Suzuki offerings that might fit. Can anyone confirm/deny? Anyone know their weights?

We can't leave out the SV bar ends:

Note the difference in prices as well as part numbers, even in the SV model range!

I don't know anything about most of these. I can tell you the difference in the S vs N versions for the OEM. The N's have a much shorter screw than the S version. I would say it's at least 2" shorter.

I have the SWATT's clip-on's and I got bar ends from him as well. I like them and think they do a good job.

The first gen N parts cost more because the set includes include the nuts and rubber expander that holds them inside the hollow bar ends. The 1st gen S models only come with the weight and a screw. The fist gen stock clip-ons are solid with a threaded hold on the end. I guess the 2nd gens are both hollow and the S model is more expensive.

Also wanted to mention, I'm not sure if you can buy the weight part alone from the dealer. They only seem to come as a set.

if your close to a suzuki dealership you could go down and see what they have in stock to compare weights. i got some plastic ones that were labeled to fit svs and gsxrs, witch i didn't relize were plastic till i got home. i can't tell the difference but thats probably because the bike was missing one when i bought it.
