Hey all,
My name is Jason and I have been lurking for a while. I bought an '06 sv650s about a week ago and love it. Any of you folks that live in California can blame me for the recent rain - of course it'd rain after I finally get another street bike to replace the cbr I sold 6 months ago!

Oh yeah...if you DO have anything to do with the rain...please keep it coming...we're in dire need out here in California for it. We're still not close to normal and we have several years that we need to make up for as well. Shasta is at 35% of capacity and that's REAL BAD!!

I agree with the rain, it's bittersweet - we need it badly with the talk of rationing that's been going around.

It's just pure torture looking at a shiny new bike in the garage and not being able to ride it! I mean sure, I could take it out in the rain, but I'd like to at least get familiar with handling and such before taking it into potentially slippery conditions.

I'm downhill from ya about 3 hours but get up that way regularly.

That's gotta be tough having a new sled and not being able to ride it!!
I've been stir crazy myself. Didn't have time to get out early before the rain yesterday but I did a 2 hour loop in the early evening and got caught in it for the last 15 minutes on the slab. Gotta wash her off now but it was worth it! Drizzle all day down here today and more tomorrow.

Cool Jake, my riding puts me in santa cruz and capitola pretty regularly. If I ever need anything from Kragen maybe I'll take the long way.
