Hi guys,

I installled a PCIII a month or so ago on my 05 SV1ks. I have felt that it was running lean around 3-5k, so I increased fuel on my map.

When I went to load the map I realized that the PC is not registering any changes in TPS. I can rev the bike, and it follows the rpm, but reads only 0% throttle. Is this a synching issue, or is something f'd up?

My PCIII was made for 2003-2004 SV1000 and did not come with a wire tap like the 2005-2007 one does. I was told the PC's work on any models, but obviously this is necessary.

Any ideas on getting around this?

Used PC software to synch TPS, and it seems to at least fixed the lack of signal.

I noticed that every time I load a new map, I have to reset the TPS, otherwise it reads 0% throttle throughout.

The bike runs MUCH smoother now that it's actually getting a somewhat decent A/F

I don't know about the PC in particular, but my FI system in my Triumph requires a TPS reset every time when you load a new map into the ECU. Probably needs to be done for all systems when a remap is done.
