Hi Forums! So this time I decided to get a new fuel pump I found off amazon.
Amazon Fuel Pump Link
It seems to come with everything I need, however, on my current fuel pump, the negative lead has a spliced ground wire that goes to the top of the fuel pump assembly and is clipped in there. The new fuel pump I bought does not have this ground wire lead and the positive/negative terminals on the fuel pump are not like the on the oem, so some wire cutting will have to be done to the wire anyway with this pump. Who else has ran into this issue and how did you trouble shoot. Is it dangerous if I don't splice and leave out this ground wire?

Thank you!

I know I had to do some splicing when I replaced mine but I don't recall there being anything missing as such. This was on an 04.
