Just got a new Yuasa battery... and of course it comes shipped dry. If not activated any issues with letting it sit dry in its package? I'm thinking I may push the OEM battery a bit longer.

It starts degrading after you pour the acid into the battery, so as long as its dry and un-poured, its got quite the shelf life, your all good!

thanks..that's what I thought, but really couldn't find anything stating that. Of course the instructions do say that the battery has to be charged as soon as acid is added (actually it says to wait about 30 minutes). I know for sure my OEM is on its way out, but I may wait a bit longer..
