I had a 99 Sv back when I lived in North Carolina. I sold it right before I deployed and have regretted it ever since.
Now I am about to pick up a nice 2004 SV 650 has just under 8000 miles and a Delkevic exhaust. Sounds good and looks great. Can't wait to start riding again.

Picked up the SV and took it out for a ride. Can't believe how much better a ride it is from the Harley.

It's time to put this bike through the standard mods/transformation
So far I have done the TPS mod.
I plan on upgrading suspension. I already have a zx14 shock waiting to be installed once I get the springs and oil for the front .
I know the ZX has a stuff spring on it but I do alot of two up riding so this will help immensely.
Then I will do a TRE mod and maybe a snorkel mod.
I would also like to upgrade the brakes. Not sure if I am going to go the route of braided hoses and new pads or spend some money and put adapters and gsxr calipers on.
Probably a handlebar swap to either superbikes or Daytona
Then some cosmetics changes.
Then the cosmetic stuff
