So there are three adjusters on my fork legs.

The anodized blue aluminum spinny thingy on top. On top of that is the silver aluminum spinny thing. At the bottom is another spinny thingy.

The silver one is marked "s => h ten". I'm assuming this is preload. Dunno where to start on that.

The blue one is rebound, right? Where do I start?

And at the base I'm assuming is damping.

I did a search and couldn't find anything. What steps do I follow to set them up for "best" ride?

The blue adjuster is the preload.

Start with setting the SAG

Thanks.

What the hell is SAG and how do I do that?

Note that this is the first front end I've ever had that had ANY adjustments built in. I went from cruisers (which all know are high up on the performance evolutionary ladder) to the SV.

I don't have time to look it up right now, but sportrider.com has tuning guides for every sportbike out there. i set mine up for the gsx-r that my fork came off of and tweaked from there.

it will get you pretty close.

If I can get up there this weekend I'll give you a hand. I'm no expert by any means, but between you and me and with Nate's suggestions, we'll get it done.
