Need help installing swingarm spools

Just bought some swingarm spools. a Woodcraft rear spool stand, some Motul lube, and some Moose chain cleaner.

I installed the spools where I thought they would go, but for some reason the stand does not fit properly and one side is off 1/2 an inch.  I even took the bike off the kickstand and its still off.

Did I put the spools where they need to go, here are some pics.  I Seriously need your help.  The box for the spools say they are for an 05 650S but of course no instructions on how to install them.

Thoughts?  Did I put the swingarm spools in the right place.  What am I doing wrong here?   Please tell me I did a newbie mistake here. Are there different rear stands for different bikes?

Kerosene (or lamp oil) and a toothbrush has worked for me for for 42+ years. Fast and effective. I have yet to find anything better.
And Kerosene does not hurt the O-Rings?.. seriously I dont know.
