I am thinking of buying a Suzuki GSX-R 1000, Yamaha R1, Kawasaki ZX-10 or CBR 1000RR. I would like to evaluate each by year. What I mean is, is the R1 of 2002 as good as the CBR of 2002. Im sure there are old articles in like Motor cylce magazine comparing the 4 but I need to find those for 2000 thru 2005. I really dont want to evaluate if the CBR of 2005 is better then the R1 of say 2003 Just by year.

If anyone can help thanks.

You don't need a liter bike, or a 600 for that matter, if you have to ask a magazine, a computer forum, or anyone else which one is best for YOU. You should ride a slow bike long enough, and you will be able to answer your questions without anyone's help when you are ready.

First off DAD I know I have to ride them first but I would like to hear what they say about the bikes before I jump on them so I can see if they do have any tendancies that they mention I will understand what the bike is doing and also the articles do help with other things,  I wasnt asking you how they ride or going to ask the magazine were that came from I dont know, I understand you cant understand a bike until you ride it, but reasearching a product before you spend money on is something smart people do, if your one who just spends money without reading up on it thats fine, but I dont.  There is a reason they write the articles for people to read and draw certain conclutions.

Stay out of the thread if you not going to just help please.

Ya thats all I was doing. I own a SV and like it just want to look into getting something alittle bigger. The only place I really have access to a computer is here at work and dont have all the time in the world to research different things so I thought I would ask if someone knows a place to get archived articles.

I gotta go, but those sites have alot of other good comparisons and reviews. I stumbled upon the SV while reading those articles, so I trust 'em.
