So I am in the middle of a gsxr swap and f3 rear wheel swap and the person that I got the wheel and front end from had the speedo kit mounted to the rear swingarm somehow and the magnets are still on the f3 rotor. Does anyone know the best way to mount the hall effect sensor for a rear wheel setup?

For some reason or other this seemed to only be popular with 1st gens.

D'Ecosse is right about the error. It will read a littler slower, but I'm sure you could live with it.

I'm in the process of putting my speedo sensor on the front sprocket.

Yeah the person I bought the wheel from had a 1st gen and he mounted it on the rear but he said that it was pretty accurate and definitely within 10%. I guess I am just going to go ahead and mount it on the front rotor though. :(
