Motorcycle iPhone Apps/Podcasts

Are there any good motorcycle iPhone apps out there? I'm talking about utilities and informational things not games.

How about podcasts? There was one called "Shiny Side Up" but they stopped podcasting 2-years ago. Thanks!

I am curious myself. Subscribed. Eaglefox, weren't you based in DFW last year?
Yes sir...we went on that ride around North TX then stopped at the Burger joint in Denton! Fun times. A couple months later, I was told my paycheck is going to be in Houston, so off I went. ;)
Right on. I moved to Wichita Falls to teach at a University up here. I am just now finding some decent roads in this area. Stay safe in that Houston traffic :p. I am very curious about the moto specific apps and also a podcast. Might be fun to do a bi-monthly SV podcast to keep up with all the chatter on this site.
Apparently, we're the only two that are interested, lol.

The one thing I didn't get a chance to do was ride towards E. TX and OK.
This isnt an app, but I bought a Nokia N810 that I think is great for bike trips. It is not a phone, so it is another device to carry with you. But it is small and fits in your pocket. It is wifi based so you do not need a data plan or subscription. Plus it has a built in gps unit. Take a break at resturant that has free wifi; get online, check your email get on IM. Fire up the GPS if your lost or searching for points of interest. I have been really happy with it.

I downloaded an APP called Converter for when I'm working on the bike. It does all the major measurement conversions and then some...kinda' lame but its all I got for now :p

Safari
For up to date weather and radar, bookmark Weather underground for Iphone.

edit: Download YELP. If you are in an unfamiliar City or town you can get good tips of where to eat and drink. I've used it a couple of times last summer and it was helpful.
i listen to the rumblestrip radio and intro to motorcycle roadracing podcasts.

if i had a highway-capable motorcycle, i'd probably listen to pandora on the bike. it's the best app i've seen so far. melvins radio FTW!!!

I'd be more interested if i could afford an iPhone! :p Then I would probably keep up on all the sweet new apps.
i use an app called roadtrip to keep track of mpg and maintenance costs for my vehicles. I've only been using it with my truck right now since the bikes arent seeing any real use right now but I plan on using it come spring.
I use it with my ipod since I dont have an iphone.

Sweet, I'll have to d/l a couple episodes and check them out!

I love Road Trip!! I use it to track my info for my Ford Edge. The Lite version only tracks one vehicle so I can't do my bike. I'm too stingy to pay $5 for the full version.
Here's a cool one for android http://actionxl.com/~CRADAR.html, but so far I haven't found one similar in app store yet.
The Pace is a pretty good padcast. I think it is more aimed at sport tourers but both the hosts have SV650's. It's worth a listen:

Motorcyclist has a podcast called Motorcyclist radio with Steve Natt but I did not listen to it so far.
Apple won't allow apps like CRADAR. Check the CRADAR site for more info.
There are several Android apps in the Google Play Store - I know of at least an app from Pirelli that tracks time, speed and lean angle and Allstate offers a motorcycle-oriented app, as well.
